Hind Boa and Korben Kirscht, the founders of HK Angel Loans, are seasoned real estate agents and investors who are passionate about helping homeowners in distress. They created HK Angel Loans to address a pressing issue: too often, struggling homeowners are exploited during their most vulnerable moments. Homeowners can face financial difficulties for various reasons, including job loss, unexpected expenses like medical bills, home repairs, accidents, or the loss of a loved one. In many cases, these individuals simply need time and support to recover without risking the loss of their homes. Hind and Korben are committed to providing compassionate solutions that help homeowners regain stability and peace of mind.

Korben experienced the devastating loss of his home during the 2008 financial crisis, a time when he deeply wished there had been someone with the expertise and compassion to guide him and his family through those difficult moments. Unfortunately, such support wasn’t available, and his family’s home was ultimately lost to the bank. This personal experience has fueled Korben’s mission to be the kind of resource he needed back then, offering guidance and solutions to help others avoid a similar fate.

I began my journey in real estate investing in the early 1980s and experienced significant success for many years. However, in 2008, I faced a devastating setback when I over-leveraged my investments and lost everything. This loss was not only a personal hardship but also a challenging experience for my family, who relied on me. It was a painful period that taught me invaluable lessons about risk, resilience, and responsibility.

 

Since then, I have worked tirelessly to rebuild what I lost and regain stability. The process of starting over has been a humbling yet empowering experience, reinforcing my commitment to smarter, more sustainable investment practices. Through persistence and careful planning, I’ve managed to turn those hard-learned lessons into the foundation of a renewed and thriving career.

 

Today, my mission extends beyond my own success. I am deeply committed to helping others avoid the pitfalls I encountered and safeguard their financial well-being.
